Revolutionary drones – next generation drone technology with a purpose!!

This great Initiative has been started through UPS partners with Wingcopter for an amazing futuristic next generation delivery drones which can capable to deliver more and more medicine. Drones are capable of vertical takeoff like a helicopter, before transitioning to fixed-wing horizontal flight when at the appropriate altitude. The drone has 2 modes. In the first it uses all 4 rotors to hover like a helicopter. In the second, it folds 1 pair away to fly like a plane. When they reach their destination, the drones transition again for vertical landing.

The electric tilt-rotor drones can autonomously fly at up to 240 km/h, have a range of 120 km and can even stay on course in winds up to 70 km/h. UNICEF recently used the drones in trials for the delivery of insulin to an island in the North Sea flying vaccines to health centers in the South Sea island of Vanuatu. Great. in Vanuatu there are many villages is very remote and also the population living very scattered for example in

Pentecost there are one health facilities there are no roads going there the only way to go to that health facility is walk around six to seven hours crossing the island so it's very difficult to deliver vaccine or any any other medical supplies the project is basically to find solution can we use drone for delivering vaccine in remote places or last mile delivery

wing copter is a drone manufacturer in Germany and we came here to Answer to participate is a strong trial project to

deliver vaccines the Tron trial project has been initiated by UNICEF and the Ministry of Health here in Vanuatu so since we came to for Villa we visited the villages spoke to the chief spoke to the communities and build up a relationship of trust with them understand what's going on there understand the impact that such a system can have if it is scaled throughout the country delivering vaccine is not like like delivering at the car booked for

other other supplies you need to maintain the cargo within two to eight degrees all the way to deliver the vaccines we use a very special box .

Special Single box single-use box and it fits the vaccines for up to 50 children that can be stored there for up to 10 hours ,we actually came up with the idea that we don't need to lend to drone on the requested areas our idea was that a

drone will fly wherever a nurse requests vaccines and will lower down a box with the vaccines in this area as you know globally not only in Vanuatu there are around 15 to 20 percent children do not have access to vaccine So I'm hoping with this project Vanuatu can provide a lesson or learn for other country in the Pacific specifically we were similar something in them of islands in the graph difficulty for access but for global as well other countries in the world can learn how drone can provide solution in term of Las modelling
